Biography

Uddamvithiyea Rom is a lecturer and engineering lab manager in the faculty of engineering and faculty of mathematics and science at Paragon International University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University in Singapore in 2019 and his Master of Engineering degree (Mechanical and Aerospace) from the University of Melbourne in Australia in 2021. Prior to his appointment at ParagonU, he was assigned to the aerodynamics team at Melbourne University Racing Motorsports Formula SAE where he had to test and validate the overall performance of the vehicle with the aerodynamic components. He was also one of the aerodynamic engineering team members at the Aerospace & Rocket Engineering Society at the University of Melbourne. His role was to create Computational Fluid Dynamics to have an optimized design of the rocket which was expected to launch up to 10,000 ft.
