As part of its mission, the university seeks to expand its linkages with both individual scholars as well as institutions in areas of common research interest. Paragon.U also maintains an “Research Affiliate” program that works to support foreign scholars planning or expecting to be resident in Cambodia for the conduct of field research. For scholars interested in affiliating with Paragon.U during their time in Cambodia, please see our policies(↪) and application form(↪). Pargon.U has hosted scholars from across the globe and maintains Memorandums of Understanding supporting collaborative research with universities in Southeast Asia and beyond(↪).

Research Ethics

Paragon.U is fully committed to ensuring that all research conducted by its faculty and students are consistent with global best practices in terms of research ethics. While Cambodia does not yet have a full human subject/Institutional Review Board (IRB) system, when research is conducted that falls within the area of human subjects, review and approval must be received by the University Research Committee. Visiting scholars are expected to have received IRB or equivalent approval from their home institutions.
