Digital Arts and Design

What is the focus of the Digital Arts and Design (DAD) program?

As Cambodia continues to advance as a nation, there has been a significant rise in the appreciation of digital aesthetics and visual storytelling across various industries. This growing awareness has led to an increasing demand for skilled designers who are proficient in digital visual language and communication. The Department of Digital Arts and Design is dedicated to nurturing this new wave of creativity by cultivating expertise in visual literacy and digital storytelling through diverse mediums such as illustration, typography, video game design, and both 3D and 2D computer graphics.

Students are encouraged to explore and innovate using the latest production technologies, equipping them to craft compelling digital narratives. The Department’s educational philosophy emphasizes the importance of pushing the boundaries of conventional digital design trends, fostering critical and theoretical thinking, and inspiring students to bring original and innovative ideas to the dynamic field of digital arts.

The Department of Digital Arts and Design’s undergraduate program offers a dynamic, two-phase curriculum designed to build foundational knowledge and advanced skills in digital arts.
