After taught as a full-time instructor and in charge Faculty of Business Management at one of the international universities in Cambodia from 2010 until 2015, Royel Yonn came to Paragon International University as an adjunct in 2016. He was later appointed and served as Head of Business Administration Department. Recently, he received the title of Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and has been serving as Head of International Trade and Logistics. His research interests encompass economic growth in developing countries like Cambodia and published in several peers reviewed journals. In addition, he is also interested in agri-business issues as well as farm plantation.
He has been invited to present at multiple conferences. He has consulted and /or provided technical assistance and course study to hundreds and hundreds of students from different universities and also to many companies in Cambodia both large and small.
Apart from his academic career he is an entrepreneur and investor, who is diversifying investment in different portfolios. He is experienced with some aspects of business sectors related to real estate, farming plantation, property management.
