Biography

Dr. Bulat G. Akhmetkarimov is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of International Relations at Paragon International University. Dr. Akhmetkarimov received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ege University (Turkey), a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati (USA), and a Ph.D. in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). His research focuses on the history of international relations, the role of religion in international affairs, and Russian foreign policy. He has previously taught and conducted research in Turkey, the U.S., and Russia.
