Phnom Penh, Cambodia – 13 November 2025 — Paragon International University (Paragon.U) successfully hosted the official grand opening ceremony for its second academic building, now home to the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (EAS Campus).
The grand opening ceremony took place on the morning of 13 November 2025 at the new facility, located approximately 600 meters from the university’s main campus. The event was held to celebrate the significant progress and accomplishments the university has achieved in developing Cambodia’s rapidly growing and advancing higher education sector.
The new building features 20 rooms which includes classrooms, multipurpose meeting spaces, and student lounge areas.
Officiating at the event were Mr. Khurshedsho Karimov, CEO of Paragon Education Co., LTD, and Dr. Bulat Akmetkaramov, Rector of Paragon International University. They were joined by School and University Management, staff, committee members, and faculty members
In his remarks, Mr. Khurshedsho Karimov has shared that, “In the face of rapid changes in technology, the global market, and new challenges, the field of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is essential,” Mr. Karimov noted. “They drive progress by developing and supporting the future of the Cambodian nation.”
He further confirmed Paragon Education Co., LTD’s long-term commitment, stating that the company will continue to pursue facility development to support this ongoing growth.
Following the Rector’s address, Dr Bulat Akmetkaramov, extended his gratitude to all relevant staff members for making the vision of Paragon.U growth possible. “This is the first extensive undertaking in the history of our institution, fulfilling our promise to provide a comfortable environment for the vibrant student life. For the past 15 years, we have grown not only the number of students, but also the programs that we offer,” he said.
The Grand Opening Ceremony of the EAS Building marks a new chapter of expansion, providing dedicated resources and modern learning environments to support the growing student body and faculty of the Economics and Administrative Sciences programs. Paragon.U looks forward to the opportunities this facility will create for academic excellence and collaborative research, driving the future of Cambodia’s economy.
