Phanny ITH is the Head of the Banking and Finance Department and Assistant Professor at Paragon .U, within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
A highly accomplished professional, he brings extensive experience from academia and Banks and Financial Institutions, including a leading international commercial bank. He has contributed to initiatives like the BFIs/BAF partners-MoU relationships, UAP contact person, and faculty advisor for the CFA Institute Research Challenge, CFA Institute (since 2022). His expertise spans actuarial analysis, product development/management, business performance/analytics, risk management, compliance, and digital project management. In academia, he has guided students in disciplines such as Khmer and English, mathematics, finance, banking, and accounting. Passionate about education, he mentors students, leads a department, and supervises educators, fostering academic excellence and career readiness.
Phanny is pursuing a PhD in Management at Saint Louis University, Philippines. He holds graduate degrees in Mathematics (RUPP) and Finance and Banking (NUM) and undergraduate degrees in Mathematics (RUPP) and TEFL (Western University, Cambodia). His research interests include mathematics, finance, banking, financial and digital inclusion, leadership, and TEFL. Recognized with numerous certifications and honors, he is dedicated to lifelong learning and creating a collaborative environment to enhance education and human capital development.
