Oddor Meancheay Province, Cambodia – On 1st and 2nd August 2025, representatives from Paragon International University embarked on a humanitarian field visit to Oddor Meancheay Province. The initiative aimed to provide support and understanding to refugee families who have been severely impacted and displaced by recent border conflicts in the region.

The Paragon International University team was led by Mr. Sophea El, who serves as both the Vice Chairman of the Board and the President of the UYFC club at Paragon International University. The university representatives joined forces with the Cambodia Higher Education Association, demonstrating a collaborative effort to address pressing humanitarian needs.

The primary objective of this two-day visit was multifaceted: to extend crucial support to approximately 4,000 refugee families, to observe their current living conditions, and to listen firsthand to their personal stories and concerns. A particular focus was placed on understanding the challenges faced by children within these communities who currently lack access to schooling due to their displacement.

This collaborative effort highlights the role of educational institutions in not only fostering academic excellence but also in addressing critical societal issues and providing tangible support to those in need. Paragon International University remains committed to leveraging its resources and community spirit for humanitarian causes.
