On 7 February 2025, Paragon International University had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Karakalpak State University, Nukus, Uzbekistan, to formalize a new academic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The 22-member delegation, which included representatives from the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan and renowned artists, was welcomed at the university’s campus for a day of academic and cultural engagement.

The visit began with a high-level meeting between the Rectors of both universities, followed by the official signing of the MOU. This agreement marks the beginning of enhanced collaboration, facilitating joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchanges, and the development of innovative academic programs. It represents a significant step toward fostering cross-cultural education and strengthening institutional ties.

As part of the cultural exchange, Paragon International University hosted a National Music and Dance Concert, celebrating Uzbekistan’s vibrant heritage. Held in the university’s Conference Hall, the performance featured traditional songs and dances presented by Uzbek artists, providing students and faculty with an immersive cultural experience.

In addition, the delegation curated a UNESCO Exhibition, showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural legacy, further emphasizing the role of cultural diplomacy in higher education.

This event underscores Paragon International University’s commitment to global engagement, academic excellence, and cultural exchange, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in international education.
